TRURO'S NO 1 WIND ORCHESTRA

Enjoying Music Together

The City of Truro Wind Orchestra (CoTWO) was formed by Lesley and Gerald Adye in the Autumn of 1997, led at first by Mr. John Greaves. In the years since, the orchestra has gone from strength to strength, performing in prestigious locations such as the Hall for Cornwall, and entering the National Concert Band Festival on more than one occasion, winning Gold awards at regional level competition and Silver and Bronze awards at national level competition.

We are a truly community-based orchestra, with people of all ages participating from across the county. We regularly perform at local venues across Cornwall, including Victoria Park Truro, St John's Church Truro and Gyllyngdune Gardens Falmouth, amongst others.

We play a wide repertoire of music, including contemporary wind orchestra pieces, film scores, jazz and classical rearrangements.

The orchestra rehearses at Penair School, Truro, Thursday evenings 7PM- 9PM (school term time only), in the main hall. Membership costs £20 per term, or £15 per term for students.
