About the event
The City of Truro Male Choir and the City of Truro Wind Orchestra are holding a joint Spring concert in St John’s Church, Lemon Street, Truro, on Friday May 13th at 7.30pm. Admission will be by programme on the door - £7 (children under 14 £2). There will be an interval with refreshments and a raffle.
City of Truro Wind Orchestra is a community orchestra providing playing opportunities for adults and with a wide repertoire of different music ranging from film music and show music, arrangements of well known pieces and music written specifically for wind orchestras.
The City of Truro Male Choir can trace its origins back to the 1940’s and over the years has had numerous musical successes in concerts and competitions both at home and abroad. It aims to give high quality entertainment and pleasure to its audiences Its repertoire is wide, modern and entertaining. Our talented Musical Director is Cornishman Russell Pascoe, a well published international composer and Cornish Bard.
